Geneapalooza - A comic strip for Genealogists

I've been following this comic strip for around 6 weeks now and I'm really enjoying it.

This excellent blog was started by Esto Frigus in June 2014 with new posts are released every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

In the comic we follow a girl and her, soon to be long-suffering, boyfriend as she embarks on  a journey to document her family history. She starts by talking to family members and immediately finds that it's not as straight forward as she thought it would be (something I've sure we've all felt at times). We follow her along this journey as she progresses to the library and starting with some genealogy software and eventually joining a family history society.

Of course, there are some really interesting characters along the way, from a woman unwittingly thinking her ancestors from Copenhagen are German, from another who did all her family history in a weekend and managed to trace her family back to Adam and Eve!

This is an excellent comic and is a breath of fresh air 3 times a week. I'd strongly advise you to follow by email, so you too can have a little laugh 3 times a week as it conveniently pops up in your inbox! ETA: This blog finished on 3 June 2015 - but there are still 155 fin posts to read.
